Russell Meyers

CEO 

Russell Meyers brings deep experience in healthcare leadership and a proven commitment to advancing healthcare in the Permian Basin to the Beacon team. In addition to his role as CEO for The Beacon, he is also President of the Permian Basin Behavioral Health Center. He previously served as President/CEO of Midland Memorial Hospital for 20 years. Meyers has also served as President/CEO of Conroe Regional Medical Center, Bayshore Medical Center, and Texas Orthopedic Hospital.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and is active in a variety of professional and community organizations. Mr. Meyers completed a Master of Science degree in Administration of Health Services at the University of Houston – Clear Lake in 1986 and was named a Distinguished Alumnus of the University in 1998. He graduated from Rice University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Managerial Studies.
