Mark Berg is an energy industry senior executive with extensive commercial and operational experience, including leadership of strategic planning, business development, government relations and communications. Mr. Berg was EVP Corporate Operations with Pioneer Natural Resources, and held previous roles at Hanover Compressor Company, American General Corporation and Vinson & Elkins.
Mr. Berg serves on the Board of Directors of ProPetro Holding Corp. and is also the founding Vice Chairman of the Permian Strategic Partnership which has invested more than $150 million to leverage more than $1 billion to improve the quality of life in communities across the Permian Basin, including through The Beacon. Mr. Berg also serves on the Board of Dallas CASA.
He received his Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Texas School of Law and graduated magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from Tulane University.
