Jack Harper

An experienced executive with expertise in oil and gas, and real estate. Jack Harper brings valuable insights and acumen to the Beacon board. Mr. Harper is a co-founder and partner at Hedloc Investment Company, and a co-founder at Shack Ventures, LP. Both entities were formed in 2005 and are focused on energy and real estate investments. Mr. Harper is also a Senior Advisor for Quantum Capital Group and serves on the Advisory Board for Daniel Energy Partners.

Mr. Harper was Executive Vice President, Lower 48, and a member of the Executive Committee at ConocoPhillips prior to his retirement from the company in January 2023. He also served in executive roles at Concho Resources, including as President from 2017 to 2021, when the company merged with ConocoPhillips. Prior to joining Concho, he served in various roles at Unocal Corporation, Pure Resources, Inc., and Tom Brown, Inc.

Mr. Harper is a past board member of the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank, El Paso Branch, and serves as President of the Midland Wildcat Committee and as Treasurer and member of the Executive Committee of the Permian Strategic Partnership. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Trustees of the Abell-Hanger Foundation. Mr. Harper earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Baylor University in 1993.”
