Steve Steen brings over 30 years of legal experience to the Beacon board, with a proven commitment to healthcare and education. He currently serves as Vice President and Chief Legal Counsel at Medical Center Health System in Odessa, a position he has held since November 2019. Founded more than 70 years ago, Medical Center Health System delivers a broad range of advanced medical services to the people of Odessa and the surrounding 17 counties, including emergency services, cancer treatment, and cardiovascular care.
Before joining Medical Center Health System in Odessa, Mr. Steen was a Partner at Shafer, Davis, O’Leary & Stoker, Inc., a leading Odessa law firm specializing in oil and gas law, business law, insurance defense, and civil litigation.
Mr. Steen has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and a
Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Texas Tech University.
